Tsavo East National Park

Tsavo East, Kenya’s largest national park, globally renowned for its rich wildlife and home of the world-famous “Red Elephants”, is only a 2.5h trip from the Temple Point Resort.

Cut in half by the torrential Galana River in the centre of the park and home to the “Big “Five”, Tsavo East will make all your dreams of exciting safari adventures come true and provide memories for more than a lifetime!

Established in 1948, it is to this day one of the most popular safari destinations in all of Africa. The typical red colour of the soil inside the park is of volcanic origin and responsible for the distinctive colour of the “red elephants”.
