+ Adapters

Kenya is using the UK plug system. In case you need an adapter, please contact the reception. We have a limited selection available.

+ Air-conditioning

Each room is equipped with a remote-controlled AC. In order to protect the environment, please switch off the AC when you leave your room.

+ Airport transfer

We will happily organize your private transfer to the airport at the reception.

+ Animals

We take our guests' safety very seriously and that is why we go through thorough pest and animal control. All rooms are equipped with mosquito protection. If you are lucky you may encounter our peacock, African chickens or the local monkeys jumping through the trees. However, please be advised not to feed any wild animals for your own safety.

+ ATMs

There are several banks and ATMs in Watamu, about a 10 min drive from the resort. Please note that most machines only except major credit card providers.

+ Baby Cribs

We will happily provide you with a baby crib.

+ Babysitter

You can request our babysitter for children at the reception. After 10 pm a charge applies.

+ Bar

The main bar opens at 10 am and closes when the last guest leaves.

+ Beach boys

Although we take great care to provide security on the beach, beach boys may approach you. We advise not to book any boat trips, excursions or safaris with people you meet on the beach. Even though their prices often seem relatively cheap, their offer usually includes no insurance or guarantee for a safe and carefree trip. Should you still opt to make such a booking, be advised never to pay in advance and please inform our reception of your absence.

+ Bicycles

You can rent bicycles including helmets and locks at our reception.

+ Check-out time

Check-out time is at 11am. For late check-out option please contact the reception. If you wish, we will store your luggage until your final departure.

+ Concierge service

Yes, our concierge will be glad to help you with any request.

+ Conference facilities

We offer conference facilities in different sizes for up to 400 people. With your own separate WiFi and catering we offer the most professional services in and around Watamu.

+ Daily essentials

Our Boutique offers a wide variety of toiletries, daily essentials as well local art work and Kenyan souvenirs.

+ Diving School

Our Extra Divers Dive Center can be found inside the resort. The centre offers complete diving courses, day-and-night-time dive trips as well as special dive events. A free-of-charge introduction for beginners can be arranged in our pool. If you wish to participate, please contact the reception or ask directly at the diving center. Open from 8 am to 6 pm.

+ Doctor & pharmacy

Our hotel doctor is available 24/7. Pharmacies are a short ride away in Watamu. Please ask at the reception

+ Entertainment

We respect your privacy and want you to enjoy a peaceful holiday. Therefore, we leave the choice to our guests to join our entertainment team who will happily create daily individual as well as group activities.

+ Event planning services

We would be proud to host your event at Temple Point Resort. Please contact us well in advance so that we can work on each of your ideas – be it a birthday cake, a special flower arrangements or a romantic candlelight dinner at our Honeymooners Pavilion.

+ Laundry service

You can use our laundry service 7 days a week. Please find a laundry bag as well as a list of fees in your wardrobe. In case you need express service, please contact the reception.

+ Meal times

Breakfast: 7:00 am – 10:00 am, Lunch: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm, Coffee/Tea: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Dinner: 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm,

+ Parking

You can find parking at the hotel’s drive- up. Please make sure to leave the emergency routes directly at the entrance unobstructed. Usage of parking comes at your own risk and we can't be held liable for any potential damages to your vehicle or lost items.

+ Payment options

You can pay for your hotel bill either in cash (USD, EUR, KSH) or with credit card (VISA, Mastercard) at our cashier at the reception desk. We recommend doing so the night before your departure in order to avoid any unnecessary delays on your departure day.

+ Pool Towels

You can borrow pool and beach towels at the reception. A small deposit will be placed on your room bill.

+ Safe

Yes, housekeeping will be happy to assist you in case you have trouble setting it up. The hotel can't be held responsible for lost items.

+ SIM card

SIM-cards are available in the boutique close to the reception .

+ Smoking

Smoking is only allowed on the rooms terrace, the designated smoking area at the main entrance of the club house and at our bar.

+ Swimming in the ocean

There is a strong current in the creek at certain times of the day. Our security guards at the beach are happy to advise you when and where it is safe to swim.

+ Tap water

Our tap water is not drinking water; however after boiling it, you can still use it for the preparation of tea and coffee; For other purposes, please use the daily refilled drinking water bottles in your room.

+ Umbrellas

We will happily provide you with an umbrella for a small deposit. If you wish, we will also pick you up at your room, when it is raining. Please contact the reception.

+ WIFI

Temple Point Resort is equipped with the newest Safaricom fiber-optic Internet, offering speeds up to 60mb/s. WiFi is available in all our rooms.
